This type is in the highest variety of pistachios and is grown in most pistachio growing areas of Iran. Fandoghi is of round type and has the lowest shape index among four commercial cultivars. “Fandoghi” pistachio is competitive in terms of price, so in terms of export, it is the first type of pistachio to be exported a lot.
